Blackberry Chia Seed Jam

One of my favourite bloggers shared this recipe this week and whenever I tell people about it they have to try it! So I thought I would share the deliciousness with my readers.

So here is the recipe:

Ingredients
2 cups fresh blackberries
1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds

First, you’ll need a blender or food processor, either one is fine. Add the berries into said blender or food processor. Then, pulse/blend in short bursts until combined, but not fully liquified, being careful because this happens very quickly. Next, pour the blended fruit into a container and stir in the chia seeds. Cover the container with a lid, and let sit overnight in the fridge to thicken.

Yup, that’s it!! No added sugar, preservatives, colouring, or flavours! Chia seeds are ridiculously good for you so you’ll have no problems getting through the batch in a week knowing its healthy. It wont last as long as its sugared/preservative ridden cousins but that’s why you make small batches.

You can use any kind of berries you like and it works 🙂
